FED: Fischer jets off to never never on Outreach tour
CANBERRA, Jan 12 AAP - Acting Prime Minister Tim Fischer today sets out for the never-never
on his annual Outreach tour of central Australia.
Mr Fischer will run the country for the next four days literally from the middle of
nowhere.
The 6,000km trip will take Mr Fischer from central Australia to the Top End and Queensland.
He will remain in constant touch with Canberra via fax and mobile phone during what will be
his second annual outback odyssey while he fills in during Prime Minister John Howard's
three-week summer …
