SA: Adelaide cricket association under police investigation
Adelaide Turf Cricket Association management says police are investigating suspiciouscircumstances surrounding its finances.
ATCA general manager ANDREW RAMSAY, who started in the role last week, says an auditof the association's accounts has revealed serious financial difficulties.
Mr RAMSAY says the association was shocked to discover during the past week that itsfinancial situation is dire.
He's confirmed that there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the state of ACTA'saccounts and as a result it's reported the issue to the South Australian police.
Mr RAMSAY says ATCA's 45 member clubs have been advised that a police investigationis under way and a special meeting of club representatives will be held later this month.
