After Friday night's embarrassing opening night loss to Topeka, Albany Patroons' forward Derrick Rowland didn't want to be seen on the streets of Albany.
"I didn't want to take my uniform off, I just wanted to stay in the locker room and hide," Rowland said about the 124-99 CBA loss. "I didn't want to show my face to the public."
Rowland and his Patroon teammates won't have to worry about being seen in the
Capital District for awhile. Tonight, the Pats start a seven- game road trip against the Savannah Spirits, which are coached by ex-Patroon assistant Charley Rosen.
